Whether you are volunteering by helping your local community set up a foodbank or responding to local and international disasters, there is a project or activity to suit everyone. By volunteering with Rotary, you know that you will be changing people’s lives for the better.

Being part of Rotary is more than just giving back to the community by volunteering. It is also about you bringing your skills, experience and enthusiasm to help it thrive, whilst making some great friends along the way. Our clubs are friendly places which invite speakers from a wide range of backgrounds to share their knowledge, increasing your social and cultural understanding. Members also share a common interest in friendship and if you visit any of our clubs around Great Britain and Ireland you will immediately feel the sense of camaraderie and fun.

Share Skills by Volunteering for Rotary

Volunteering with Rotary could be the most important thing you ever do. Your skills and experience are invaluable in our drive to help communities at home and around the world through our volunteer work. District Governor 3142

Congratulations for becoming the President of Rotary Club of Thane

Under your Leadership the club should witness the extraordinary growth in all 5 Avenues of service, to create a huge difference in the community, as our RI Theme goes ROTARY MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

We are here to serve the community to make the difference in their life. Our service will be guided, as it should be, by the three strategic priorities To support and strengthen our clubs, To focus and increase our humanitarian service, And to enhance rotary’s public image and awareness.

As we are role models of Rotary we should reach to every citizen of the District through our great service and to make a change in common man’s life. As  our vision for 2017-18 is “Every citizen of our District either a Donor or a Beneficiary”

Our RI president Ian Riseley’s concerned is Environment, he expect every member should plant atleast one tree from 1st July, 2017 to 22nd April, 2018 which is Earth Day. He expects atleast 1.2 Million new trees will be planted which will bring lot of Environmental benefits. We are capable of planting 1.2 Million trees in our District itself.

In the Star year we have decided to do minimum one Global grant per Club, Extraordinary Membership growth by 1000 plus and Actively participation in Rotary Foundation contribution by each and every Club.

If we are able to achieve these, our District would reach to newer heights and be Dynamic Dist.3142, we will take our District to the greater heights by serving community and making a change in every humans life through Rotary.

First Lady Mano joins me in wishing you a Star year ahead.
