A mega medical camp was organized by RCTU with the help of Doctors and NGO NK Dabhar Cancer Foundation
at Govt Health Centre Village Apta

8 RCC members (formation under process) facilitated tocarry out the camp effectively
Dr. Aishwarya , Dr. Joshi, Dr. Rekha Joshi, Dr Sunil Parvatkar, Dr Sunil Ved managed Dental, General, and eye
72 Mammography’s were carried out for women from more than 5 villages and Zero was tested positive
149 patients were attended by Dr.Sunil Parvatkar (Ref Abhishek Sharma) medicines were distributed to
patients for various general illness.
152 patients were attended for dental check by Rtn. Dr. Aishwarya and Dr. Rekha Joshi and Dr. Joshi (ref
Jalaja Menon) 4 patients are suspect case of Oral cancer and 4 others at pre cancer stage
150 patients were tested by Optometrist Nitin Ved (ref Dr Chitra)for eye checkup and approx. 40 needs
specs and a few 9approx 8-10) needs Cataract operation).
A blood Donation Camp was Organised by Rotary Dist 3142 along with Rotaractors. RCTU with other three clubs executed this project on day one of Rotary Year 2017-18
A total of 103 units were collected in this camp which is highest in thane City camps on that day.
A total of 307 units were collected in entire Thane City
Lake surrounding full of garbage, RCTU leaded by senior Rotarian and club trainer Rtn Vijay Kulkarni along with other members raised the concern to local authorities, visited and proposed cleanliness drive at the venue on 2nd October 2017
With reference to above report the drive was conducted at Kachrali lake and the needful done.The Rotarians were flanked by honorable MP Rajan Vichare, Mrs.Nandini Vivhare Nandini Vichare.(Corporater)
Rtn Aparna informed us a group of farmers who wants to make a temporary check dam needs approx 5000 empty cement bags. We approached Rtn Sameer Lotke who spoke to a builder an organized the 5000 bags.
Project 2: On Nov 18th Rtn Aparna informed they are short of another 2000 such bags and Rtn Sameer again helped and the end result is below which will help farmers earn one more crop.
RCTU arranged the Quila making competition under the name of “Kille Mahotsav” it was a fifteen days long planning and four days rigorous workshop right from making to till exhibition which was for three days during deewali, the project was conceptualized by Rotarian, club secretary Asif Sayyed and to execute it at Ecozone Athena was a shear idea of Rotarian Nitin. Whole show went on very well various forts like Pratapgad, Sindhudurga, Lingana, Shivneri etc were made and applauded by most, the inauguration was flanked by renowned social worker Bhagawat and Mr. Lad .The local corporater Mr. Sanjay Bhoir selflessly helped in providing various facilities and also attended the inauguration ceremony. Selected first three arts and felicitated and also sent further for the competition organized by MTDC
